Set off for a journey to applaud the beauty that lies in the eighth highest mountain of the world i.e. Mt. Manaslu along with a hidden gem in the region known as “Tsum” valley. The glittering snow on the apex touching mountain peak is magnificent and the lush and wild landscape of Tsum valley will leave you in awe. Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek is a recently opened trail that has gained attraction of many travel lovers however the travellers in the region are very less owing to its difficult terrain and very simple accommodation facility.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu
  • Day 02: Preparation for trek and Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour
  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Soti Khola (710m/2328ft) via Arughat, duration: 8-9 hrs.
  • Day 04: Soli Khola to Machha Khola (900m/2952ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs.
  • Day 05: Machha Khola to Philim (1590m/5215ft) Duration: 6 hrs.
  • Day 06: Philim to Ripche (2470m/8101ft) Duration: 6 hrs.
  • Day 07: Ripche to Nile/Chhule (3360m/11020ft), visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave, 8-9 hrs.
  • Day 08: Nile/Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700m/12136ft), visit Dephyudonma Gompa, 5 hrs
  • Day 09: Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa (3240m/10630ft) Duration: 05 hrs.
  • Day 10: Trek to Deng (1860m) Duration: 7 – 8 hours walking. Stay overnight at Guesthouse (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included).
  • Day 11: Trek to Namrung (2900m/9512ft) Duration: 5 hrs.
  • Day 12: Namrung to Lho Gham (3180m/10430ft) Duration: 3-4 hrs.
  • Day 13: Trek to Samagaon (3500m/11480ft) Duration: 6 hrs.
  • Day 14: Acclimatization day at Samagaon
  • Day 15: Trek to Dharmashala (4450m/14596ft) Duration: 6-7 hrs.
  • Day 16: Trek to Bhimphedi (3590m/11775ft) via Cross Larkya La pass (5220m/17121ft) Duration: 8 hrs.
  • Day 17: Trek to Tilje (2300m/7544ft) Duration: 5 hrs.
  • Day 18: Trek to Chamje (1410m/4625ft) Duration: 6-7 hrs
  • Day 19: Drive to Kathmandu (1337m) Duration: 8 hrs
  • Day 20: Farewell

Cost Includes

  • All airport/hotel transfers
  • Two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at a 3-star category hotel in Kathmandu
  • Full board meals with tea/coffee (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek
  • Best available twin sharing lodge to lodge accommodation during the trek

  • Surface transfer from Kathmandu – Arughat by private jeep and Arughat to Soti Khola by local jeep. Similarly transport from Dharapani – Beshisahar by public jeep and Beshisahar – Kathmandu by private car
  • All necessary permits including Annapurna and Manaslu conservation, and TIMS card fees
  • First aid medical kit

  • Nepal entry visa: you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (a multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)
